Regen Counselling Pricing

Our pricing structure

  • Individual counselling is $150 for 50-60 minute appointment.

  • Supervision sessions are $150 for 50–60 minute appointment.

  • EMDR sessions are $190 for 90 minute appointments.

  • NDIS sessions are $193.99 per appointment. Appointments are for 50-60 minutes.

  • There is a small additional surcharge for after hour appointments on top of standard fees as set above.

  • Any reports or support letters that are required for clients will incur a fee, please email or phone to discuss these requirements as needed.

To make services accessible, Regen Counselling practice fees are set well below the Australian Association of Social Workers recommended rates.

If you need to request an unusual appointment (e.g. a different location or a different length), you can email lori.hetherton@outlook.com or phone 0490 459 308 to request this, before booking.

Payment

Please note that online session bookings require a credit card to confirm your appointment time and date. Your card will be charged at time of the appointment. Bank transfer is also available, and payment will be required to be received 2 days prior to appointment.

When you book your first appointment, you will be asked to complete the intake form which includes your credit card and Medicare details (if required), and to read the terms and conditions.

We are registered for support and/or rebates with:

  • Medicare - Including the Better Access to Mental Health Care Program

  • Medicare - Chronic Disease Management plan

  • NDIS clients who are self-managed or plan managed

  • Victims of Crime (NSW and VIC)

Private Health

If you have Private Health Insurance, discuss with your insurer to determine if you are covered for psychological services with an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.

Medicare

Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment of eligible mental health conditions under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative. Part of your fee will be claimable from Medicare, provided that your doctor or psychiatrist assesses you to be eligible for psychological services under Medicare. A referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) will then be forwarded to your requested professional. Medicare will reimburse $87.25 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year through this program.

A MHCP must be received prior to the counselling appointment. On day of appointment if the MHCP has not been received, full payment of appointment is maintained and will not be reimbursed by Medicare.

MHCP Medicare rebate claims can be processed after attended appointments and full fee has been paid.

Late arrivals

The full fee will be charged if clients are late for their appointment, and clients will only be able to use the remainder of their allocated time.

Change of appointment

If you require to change the date and time of appointment, please let us know at your earliest convenience otherwise Cancelation Policy fees will apply. Lori is available by phone for re-scheduling on 0490 459 308.

If your appointment must be changed (outside of 48 hours), no fee is charged.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the session/appointment cost. This is due to not being able to rebook another client in at short notice. No attendance will also incur 100% of the appointment cost.

Please note that Medicare and private health insurance do not provide rebates for missed appointments or cancellations fees.
